The dictaphone: encode the timing trick as world-truth or as telling-withhold?

Ch.2 plants the dictaphone without revealing its function. Encoding the true timeline in the chronicle (with a WITHHOLD on the telling) keeps the world honest; encoding the apparent timeline defers the retcon to ch.26 and needs a worldline branch later.
